Beautiful Night Adekunle Gold

Beautiful Night by Adekunle Gold is such a good sex song! Here’s our reason.

Imagination, according to Einstein, is everything. If it was (and still) a preview of life’s coming attractions, imagine the hard work that has to go into making music, such that it sounds so pleasant to the ears. Not just any music, but one that touches the soul, then miraculously brings the body and mind to join it in space. Today, we are reviewing Beautiful Night by Adekunle Gold, and we think that as much as it is a great love song, it is also a good sex song. You might wonder why; check out Bolaji Akinrinde’s review.

Doubtless, Adekunle “Gold” Kosoko has been one force to reckon with in the Nigeria music industry. Everyone remembers how he kicked off his career as that comic graphic designer, until he found his way into the entertainment industry in 2014. Sade, his first single, brought him to limelight, and he has since been relevant.

Actually, this episode isn’t necessarily about what and how he got his big break. If I am asked, it would be about that beautiful third track on his debut album, Beautiful Night (Album: Gold). A track so colorful, one can literally feel the freshness of the sound.

The urban highlife style of music he employs creates almost the most desired result every great listener wants to drown in. Asides this, love has been perfectly portrayed in a way most understandable by any average music lover.

In an effort to analyze this song and how its influences our perception about love, the instrumentation, the lyrics and vocals, and the theme, which is about whether or not there is a message passed, shall be carefully reviewed.

Needless to say, the instrumentation, especially on the intro to Beautiful Night by Adekunle Gold gives a feeling that cannot be explained by mere words. Not dense, not sparse, creating a balance between itself and the vocals. If you have the track on your playlist, put it on repeat and tell me if you would not shake in rhythmic movements, even if there were no words on it.

Personally, it throws me way back into the past to listen to a beat so rich in the combination of instruments, especially when the texture of the beat comes out so soft, even a little muddy to give it a rare spice. The beat on the intro of Beautiful Night by Adekunle Gold comes out a little different from what comes after, but the repetition of the same “chord of beats” through the body, makes it very easy to groove gently to.

There are high points where the trumpet sound is made even a little louder than the vocals, which is the peak for me.

To think a love song would go on that alone was genius, ipso facto.

As might be expected, and even though Gold’s image definitely affects how everyone (especially ladies) feels about the song, he did not fail on the lyrics and vocals. If there is one thing any lady who is a fan of this celebrity loves, asides his fine look that is, it would be his voice and how passion is often felt through his choice of words on lyrics and the beautiful recitation of each line. He does this just as uniquely as his style—urban highlife.

It is safe to say that even anger dissolves at the play of this track. It stands to reason that the tone of the vocals, through this power track, does not contradict the instrumentation. Verses, the repeated chorus, hooks and “jabs”, all fall exactly where they should be, creating a harmony, most describable by the soul. I am sure some ladies try to fill their names where necessary on the track to personalize it. Lol.

Though the message of the lyrics is mostly of sexuality, the artiste has been careful enough to balance it with a feel of love, creating an image of two lovers only trying to make the best of a beautiful night. You’d soon find out, lol.

Conclusively, this wouldn’t be complete without properly pointing the theme through the track, even though it is almost visible. There is the theme of Love, and definitely many of Sexuality.

Gold indirectly set a benchmark for playboys who like to “rob” ladies with sweet words. Lol. Through the song, the latter definitely comes first for an open mind. It would then be the essence of the blog to ensure security is paramount in every relationship, or even as mild as love stories.

I am saying though sexual activities may occur between two who may or may not have deep feelings for each other, it is always safe to be sure you’re sharing your “temple” with someone you truly want to be with. Where ‘be with’ surely means loving the person. That way, regret stays far from you, even if things don’t later work out.

Love is a very beautiful experience, but it is even more beautiful when it is followed by those activities rated PG 18. It becomes risky when the first comes after the second. Feel me?

Please, ask yourself this. Would you still feel as good, or still love the urban highlife style, if Adekunle Gold’s songs were sung by another person?
And that other person you have in mind better not be Simi. *EyesRolling.
